Climate-smart Agriculture

This theme examines climate-smart agriculture and sustainable rural development in China and the Asia–Pacific region, focusing on low-carbon agri-food systems that strengthen climate resilience while improving food security and smallholder livelihoods. Special attention is given to marginalised communities, including women and ethnic minorities. The research and network activities under this theme are expected to inform policy discussions and contribute meaningfully to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
