Reimagining Global Governance

Reimagining Global Governance

Welcome to the Global Governance & International Development Cooperation Network
China, the Global South, and International Development Cooperation Network

What We Do

A global network connecting scholars, policy experts, civil society, and development practitioners to advance inclusive, equitable, and sustainable governance across the Asia–Pacific and the Global South.

A global network connecting research, policy, and practice to advance inclusive and sustainable governance across the Asia–Pacific and the Global South.

Research

Produce and disseminate rigorous, policy-relevant research on global governance and development cooperation.

Dialogue

Facilitate cross-regional dialogue between Asia–Pacific, Global South, and other international stakeholders.

Support

Support evidence-based policy engagement with governments, multilateral institutions, and NGOs.

Amplify

Amplify Global South leadership and perspectives in global development debates.

Key Themes

The Network’s research is organised around four key themes that reflect the most pressing questions in global governance and development cooperation today. Together, they address how the Asia–Pacific and the Global South are navigating shifting power dynamics, environmental challenges, and new forms of transnational engagement. Each theme brings together interdisciplinary research, policy dialogue, and practitioner perspectives.

We turn research into action and bridge global and local realities.

We convene scholars, policymakers, and civil society leaders to co-create solutions to today’s most pressing governance challenges. By linking global debates with local expertise, we strengthen institutional capacity, inform policy reform, and promote more equitable development outcomes.
